Te Ataarangi is made up of Rohe operating independently, each with its own unique character. Each with its own strategic plans reflecting the specific needs and interests of the communities within. 

 

Te Ataarangi ki Waiariki is currently working on offering local community-based classes and immersion gatherings that are aimed at meeting the needs of each 'peka' within its jurisdiction. This regional not only supports local engagement but also nurtures growth of the local language.

 

As Te Ataarangi ki Waiariki covers a diverse number of iwi, dialects and protocols play an important part of the curriculum. As a result, tribal dialects and vocabulary continue to thrive and flourish within these vibrant communities
